Dongducheon City Temporarily Operates 'Saeol Electronic Civil Service Portal' in Response to National Informatization Network Outage
Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on October 21 that it has established a temporary electronic civil service portal to minimize inconvenience for residents, following the suspension of online civil complaint submissions through the National Informatization Network due to a recent fire.
Starting October 20, the city has been operating the "Saeol Electronic Civil Service Portal" on its official website as a temporary measure, and this service will continue until the National Sinmungo system is restored.
Through this portal, citizens can submit general complaints and suggestions related to Dongducheon City online, including issues concerning daily inconveniences, roads and transportation, and the environment. However, unlike the National Sinmungo, complaints related to other agencies will not be automatically forwarded, so residents must apply directly to the relevant institution.
