Providing Tailored Employment Information for Students
Improving Accessibility Through Regular Sessions
The Dong-A University Career Plus Center (Director: Shin Yongtaek) held a series of recruitment briefing sessions and recruitment consultation meetings to provide high-quality employment information and create opportunities for communication between HR managers and current students, graduates, and local youth.
Over the two months leading up to this month, a total of 11 companies participated in the recruitment briefing sessions, including commercial banks (BNK Busan Bank, Hana Bank), financial public enterprises (IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, Korea Asset Management Corporation), public enterprises (National Health Insurance Service), large and mid-sized companies (Lotte Hotel, BGF Logis, Korean Air, Samsung Heavy Industries, Ecopro BM, Hanmi Group, DN Solutions), providing recruitment information.
This event was designed to help job seekers by offering a practical understanding of the latest recruitment trends and direct communication with current HR managers. Participating companies provided detailed guidance on how to prepare for each stage of the recruitment process, including document screening, aptitude tests, and interviews, helping students resolve their questions and develop their job search strategies.
Choi Donggyun, a senior majoring in electronic engineering who attended the Korean Air recruitment briefing session, said, "It was very helpful to be able to ask HR managers questions directly and receive detailed information at the briefing session," adding, "If more opportunities like this are provided, it will be a great support for job preparation."
Shin Yongtaek, Director of the Dong-A University Career Plus Center, said, "We are doing our best to hold regular recruitment briefing sessions so that students can easily and quickly access recruitment information," and added, "We will be a strong supporter so that every student can obtain the necessary information and prepare for employment with confidence through these sessions."
