On the 21st, President Lee announced on his social networking service (SNS), "The town hall meetings, which I began in order to communicate directly with the people, will hold their fifth session in Daegu Metropolitan City."
President Lee stated, "Daegu has long driven South Korea's industrial development, and together we will seek ways for Daegu to take another leap forward." He added, "Your stories will become policy, and those policies will in turn create a virtuous cycle that transforms your lives."
The town hall meeting will discuss topics such as realizing a cutting-edge medical city through advanced technology convergence, establishing Daegu as the capital of AI robotics, building a leading city for the future mobility industry, and implementing innovative policies for balanced regional development.
