Gwangju Office of Education to Hold College Admission Academy for Parents of First- and Second-Year High School Students
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the "Gwangju College Admission Parent Academy" at 2:00 p.m. on October 25 in the main auditorium of the Gwangju Education Research & Information Institute. The event is designed for parents of first- and second-year high school students preparing for college entrance exams, and will provide guidance on mathematics study methods and customized college admission strategies.
According to the city’s Office of Education on October 21, the first part of the event will feature Jeong Jongyeong, a mathematics instructor from EBSi, who will present on "Study Methods for Mathematics in the College Scholastic Ability Test and School Exams." Jeong Jongyeong is the author of books such as "EBS College Scholastic Ability Test Concept Practice: Probability and Statistics" and "EBS College Scholastic Ability Test Concept Mastery in 3 Weeks: Mathematics I·II."
In the second part, Kim Jinseok, an EBSi college entrance exam instructor, will cover customized college admission support strategies for first- and second-year high school students. Kim Jinseok has served as a member of the Ministry of Education’s School Life Record On-Site Support Team, a college admission counseling teacher for the Korean Council for University Education, and the head of the research team for the National Association of College Admission Guidance Teachers.

Applications for the academy can be submitted through the Gwangju Career & College Admission Support Center website until October 22. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the event, and a video of the special lecture will be uploaded to the EBSi website after the event concludes.
