KENTECH and IUCEA Expand Global Energy Cooperation Network in East Africa

View original imageKorea Energy Engineering University (KENTECH) announced on October 20 that it will strengthen global cooperation, including talent development and joint research in the energy sector, through a partnership with the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), which represents higher education institutions in the East African region.
The IUCEA is a leading regional council comprising over 160 higher education institutions from eight countries in East Africa, and it plays a key role in certifying educational and research capabilities and building an innovation ecosystem. On this day, KENTECH signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a strategic partnership with the IUCEA, with plans to jointly promote energy education and the foundation for sustainable development in the East African region.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will pursue ongoing cooperation focused on joint research in areas of mutual interest such as energy transition, renewable energy, and climate technology; co-hosting academic events; and operating exchange programs for researchers and students.
