Busan Urban Corporation Holds On-Site Briefing for Western Busan Administrative Complex Town Construction

Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) announced on October 20 that it recently held an on-site briefing session regarding the technical proposal bidding for the detailed design of the Western Busan Administrative Complex Town construction project.
This briefing was conducted for the Taeyoung Construction consortium and the Kumho Construction consortium, both of which were selected as eligible bidders through the previously held pre-qualification (PQ) assessment. The corporation organized this session to enhance bidders' understanding of the project and to ensure a smooth bidding process.
The Western Busan Administrative Complex Town construction project is a large-scale initiative with a total project cost of approximately 344.4 billion won. It aims to build a complex government office building with five basement levels and 31 above-ground floors within the Sasang Regeneration District Activation Zone in Hakjang-dong, Sasang-gu.
During the on-site briefing, the corporation explained key details such as the project overview, the current status of the surrounding area, and the architectural plan. The session proceeded with guidance on important bidding considerations, followed by a Q&A session with the participating companies.
Busan Urban Corporation plans to proceed with the submission and response process for inquiries regarding the bidding guidelines, followed by the evaluation of technical proposals and the opening of price bids, ultimately selecting the final successful bidder.
