SNT Showcases Comprehensive Future Military Capabilities at Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition
SNT Dynamics and SNT Motive Showcase Their Core Products
SNT Dynamics and SNT Motive, the defense industry affiliates of SNT Group, participated in the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2025), held from October 20 to 24 at KINTEX in Goyang. The companies showcased a comprehensive range of products currently under development and mass production.
The two companies introduced their core products at a 730-square-meter exhibition booth, including automatic cannons and automatic transmissions for tracked vehicles.
President Lee Jae-myung is visiting the SNT Motiv booth and receiving an explanation about the K13 submachine gun from Director Son Juhyun, who is in charge of special development management.

The Electric Drive Unit (EDU) and e-Axle are electric powertrains applicable to next-generation electric and unmanned tactical vehicles. In particular, the EDU is a core component of electric vehicles, transferring electrical energy from the battery to the drivetrain. It has been supplied to the Chevrolet Bolt, an electric vehicle by General Motors (GM) in the United States, and has achieved global sales of over 160,000 units, demonstrating its performance in the world market. The e-Axle is an environmentally friendly, high-efficiency electric powertrain that integrates the motor, reduction gear, and differential into a single structure.
The domestically developed 1,700-horsepower powerpack for main battle tanks combines SNT Dynamics' world-first 6-speed forward, 3-speed reverse automatic transmission with an engine from HD Hyundai Infracore. Exports began in 2024 for the Altay tank in T?rkiye, and it is set to be applied to the fourth batch of K2 tanks from 2026.
The 120mm mortar system mounted on a Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) is a next-generation weapon system currently being developed for Marine Corps amphibious operations. It is designed to be lightweight for maritime and rapid air transport, enabling swift operation in coastal landing and coastal defense missions. It is expected to become a core asset for the Marine Corps in the future.
At this exhibition, SNT Motive highlighted its initiative for "Global Cooperation" with leading global firearms and ammunition companies. As a new step to strengthen global competitiveness, SNT Motive signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with Heckler & Koch of Germany and Colt of the United States, and partnered with UTM, a manufacturer of training munitions, to jointly operate a training ammunition live-fire experience booth.
SNT Motive plans to introduce the advanced firearms technology of Heckler & Koch to the domestic market, exchange products and production technologies as a strategic partner, and further elevate its firearms manufacturing expertise and quality standards. In addition, SNT Motive unveiled prototypes for the improvement of both Colt's "MK.47 40 High-Velocity Grenade Machine Gun," which is the standard automatic grenade launcher for the U.S. Special Operations Command, and the "K4 40mm High-Velocity Grenade Machine Gun" used by the Korean military, signaling its global technological capabilities for the future enhancement of military power.
Furthermore, SNT Motive plans to operate a UTM (Ultimate Training Munitions) live-fire experience booth, previously only available at overseas defense exhibitions. At this booth, the K2C1 rifle, K15 machine gun, and P10C pistol have been modified to fire training blanks and paint rounds. This is expected to provide a new, safe, and efficient alternative for individual firearms training during tactical exercises in the military.
An SNT official stated, "By leveraging SNT's precision machinery technology, collaboration with global companies, and convergence with next-generation precision electronic control technologies, we will discover new growth engines and create new value."
