To attract tourists from the metropolitan area, the Foundation and the Lake Culture Zone set up and operated an interactive promotional booth at the event plaza in Yeouido Hangang Park.
Festival visitors visited the promotional booth to obtain tourism information about the Lake Culture Zone and received souvenirs representing the unique characteristics of each city and county. In addition, interactive programs such as "Wind Letters of the Lake," "Gangwon Lake Curling Challenge," and "Gangwon Lake Exploration Team" were held, receiving an enthusiastic response.
This promotional event was especially significant as it effectively introduced the appeal of the Gangwon Lake Culture Zone to citizens of Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province in the high-traffic area of Hangang Park.
Choi Sunghyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Foundation, stated, "The Gangwon Lake Culture Zone offers an environment optimized for outdoor activities such as leisure and camping," and added, "We will continue our promotion efforts focused on the metropolitan area so that more people can discover the Lake Culture Zone."
