Oh Sehoon Attends Animal Protection Day Event: "A City Where Companion Animals Are Happy"
Seoul Mayor Oh Sehoon attended the "2nd Seoul Animal Protection Day Commemorative Event" held at Banpo Hangang Park Picnic Area on the morning of October 18.
Mayor Oh stated, "With one out of every three households raising companion animals, it has become a natural part of daily life for people and animals to live together," adding, "We will work to make Seoul a city where companion animals are happy and where warm hearts for animals abound."

The city is promoting a variety of policies for companion animals, including the Seoul Animal Welfare Support Center, which supports everything from the adoption of abandoned animals to socialization training; dog parks where pets can run freely without leashes; neighborhood animal hospitals; and local pet boarding facilities.
