[Photo] Gwangju Team Holds "Resolution Ceremony" for National Para Games
The Gwangju Sports Council held the "45th National Para Games Gwangju Team Resolution Ceremony" at the Gwangju Disabled National Sports Center on October 17, attended by Mayor Kang Gijung, Seo Yonggyu, Vice Chairman of the Gwangju City Council, heads of organizations, athletes, and officials. Having achieved an excellent overall 5th place for two consecutive years, the Gwangju team is aiming for a top ranking again this year, with 394 athletes competing in a total of 22 events, including badminton. Mayor Kang Gijung stated, "I encourage you to fully demonstrate the skills you have honed through hard work, and to take another step toward achieving your individual dreams. Your challenges are inspiring courage and hope in many people. All citizens of Gwangju are cheering for you, so please have confidence and do your best."
