KB Life to Launch Company-Wide Generative AI Agent Service
On October 17, KB Life announced that it will launch its company-wide "Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agent Service" on October 21, aiming to transform the work environment for both customers and employees.
This project was initiated as a strategic effort to simultaneously boost non-face-to-face sales and enhance internal work efficiency. KB Life has developed both an insurance product agent and a content creation agent, each built on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology optimized for the insurance domain.
The insurance product agent provides accurate and prompt responses to inquiries based on a knowledge base comprised of key documents such as policy terms, business manuals, and product summaries. By relying on foundational documents, the system minimizes the possibility of hallucinations (incorrect answers). It also features automatic matching of similar products and a real-time search user interface based on product and rider names, thereby improving both the convenience and accuracy of consultations.
The marketing content creation agent automatically generates a variety of marketing materials, including product brochures, advertising banners, and direct messages. Users can simply enter a prompt, and the AI will suggest text and images. With the built-in editor, high-quality content can be produced quickly and efficiently.
The introduction of AI agents is expected to maximize work efficiency for employees and, through ongoing training, help establish an AI-driven work culture throughout the organization.
