This concert was organized as part of Hwacheon County's international cultural exchange program, designed to provide Hwacheon youth with opportunities to experience global cultures.
The troupe's exchange activities included a performance at the Korean International Section of Ecole Primaire Silvestre (featuring samulnori, seoljanggu, and pangut), a nongak busking performance at the Eiffel Tower Park in Paris, and an invited performance at the “Korea-France Friendship Day” commemorative event hosted by the Saint-Mande City Hall.
Stages featuring samulnori, seoljanggu, and pangut captivated local audiences with dynamic rhythms and lively beats, receiving enthusiastic responses.
In particular, the nongak busking performance at Eiffel Tower Park left a strong impression, drawing in tourists and citizens who stopped to watch.
At the commemorative event held at Saint-Mande City Hall, the troupe was met with applause and cheers from local dignitaries, showcasing the charm of Korean traditional music and the passion of its youth.
Choi Moonsun, Mayor of Hwacheon County, stated, “We will continue to expand opportunities for overseas cultural experiences so that students from Hwacheon can return home with broader perspectives and enriched hearts.”
