The two companies will propose an N2SF-based security model that balances security and data usability, and will focus on identifying new business opportunities for national, public, and private sectors.
The two companies will accelerate the application of zero trust-based security technologies, which are essential requirements for N2SF. They will establish and specify segmented security levels for each of the six core pillars. Igloo Corporation will focus on providing a 'Hybrid Extended Detection and Response (Hybrid XDR) Security Architecture.' This will implement an integrated process from the unification of each element, asset identification and security posture visibility monitoring, to detection and analysis, and automated security operations response.
Softcamp will provide security solutions and services based on web isolation (RBI) technology that meet the N2SF’s standards for work criticality and information sensitivity control. Depending on the work criticality of each institution, work information systems will be classified as Classified, Sensitive, or Open, and different security levels will be applied to each classification. Users will be able to safely use external Software as a Service (SaaS) required for their work in an isolated environment, thereby improving work efficiency and convenience.
Bae Hwankook, CEO of Softcamp, stated, "The core of the National Network Security Framework (N2SF) is to provide differentiated security policies for AI and SaaS services, which were previously restricted in network-separated environments, based on the criticality of work and the sensitivity of information. Softcamp will collaborate with Igloo Corporation to provide a secure environment that enables safe and flexible work even in AI and cloud environments."
