Samyoung M-Tech is surging. The rise is believed to be influenced by news of the company's acquisition of Donga Hwasung.
As of 10:19 a.m. on October 16, 2025, Samyoung M-Tech was trading at 15,800 won, up 2,770 won (21.26%) from the previous trading day.
The previous day, Samyoung M-Tech announced through a disclosure titled "Decision to Acquire Shares and Equity Securities of Another Company" that it would acquire 6,664,802 shares (42.18%) of Donga Hwasung held by Lim Kyungsik and two others for 133,296,040,000 won. The acquisition price per share is 20,000 won. After the transaction, Samyoung M-Tech's ownership stake in Donga Hwasung will be 43.50%.
The purpose of the acquisition is business diversification. The acquisition funds will be paid using both existing capital and loans. The transaction is scheduled to be completed on December 16, 2025.
