'Cultural City Suwon Festival' to Be Held at Suwon No. 1 Outdoor Music Hall on the 25th
Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will host the 2nd Cultural City Suwon Festival at the No. 1 Outdoor Music Hall on October 25. This year's festival, themed "Greetings and Well-being," will feature a variety of programs including performances, hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and a market.
The performance events include "Hello, Concert," featuring the Kim Changwan Band, singer An Ye-eun, Norareul Chatneun Saramdeul, and the Suwon City Choir; "Sounds of Suwon," a stage for young musicians; and "Suwonhaesseo, Oneuldo," a citizen storytelling performance.
Experiential programs include "Mind Pharmacy" (art therapy with 20 participating artists), "Chaekpungdeong Ajit" (picture book readings by mothers), "Suwona Noolja!" (an interactive playground for children), and "Donghaeng Space Branch" (experiences at local cultural spaces in the neighborhood).
Suwon City will also operate the "Soomunjan Market," featuring 35 local Suwon brands, as well as food trucks that use reusable containers.

A Suwon City official stated, "Cultural City Suwon aims to be a cultural community led by its citizens," adding, "We hope this festival will be an event where people can check in on one another in their daily lives and showcase Suwon as a warm city connected through culture."
