Despite the rainy and inclement weather, both young people and citizens gathered, filling the venue with enthusiasm.
The festival began with a screening of the film "The Greatest Showman," followed by a performance by "Pocheon Dream Band," composed of local middle and high school students. Various pre-performances, including youth busking, yodeling, and a youth quiz show, received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
The official commemorative ceremony was hosted by Yoon Taeyong, Pocheon City's public relations ambassador and YouTuber. The atmosphere was further elevated by a performance from vocalist Oh Yuseok, the 2025 Pocheon Youth Awards ceremony, and congratulatory speeches.
Next, singers Shin Yongjae, Kyungseo, Kang Seungsik, and Sebin took the stage, delivering passionate performances that left a lasting impression and resonance for the youth and citizens who attended despite the rain.
Throughout the venue, experience, consultation, and promotional booths operated by young entrepreneurs and organizations actively engaged with citizens. Additionally, a food truck zone, youth MBTI program, caricature experiences, and a youth policy survey event were among the various programs prepared, drawing enthusiastic participation from attendees.
Mayor Baek Younghyun stated, "The youth festival is a place where young people become the main characters and connect with the community," adding, "We will continue to actively support the creativity and challenges of our youth so they can grow into leaders of Pocheon's future."
