Catholic School Foundation Ranks Third Overall in 2025 University Foundation Evaluation
Catholic School Foundation Achieves Outstanding Operational Performance
The Catholic School Foundation, the parent organization of Catholic University, announced on the 17th that it ranked third overall in the '2025 University Evaluation Institute (INUE)·Korea Economic Daily University Foundation Evaluation.'
This year marked the first implementation of the university foundation evaluation, which assessed 83 foundations nationwide that operate private universities with more than 5,000 enrolled students. The evaluation was based on three categories and 14 detailed indicators: foundation financial soundness (40%), foundation-university financial soundness (20%), and sustainability (40%).
The Catholic School Foundation ranked third in foundation financial soundness (25.06 points), first in foundation-university financial soundness (17.52 points), and sixth in sustainability (29.20 points), achieving third place overall.
In particular, the foundation transfer ratio was high at 19.67%. The foundation also received high marks in key indicators such as the statutory contribution ratio (104.72%) and the school operation expense foundation burden ratio (125%).
