Geumsan County Releases About 100,000 Freshwater Snails into Rivers
Received Seed Snails Directly Produced by the Freshwater Fish Center of the Chungnam Provincial Fisheries Resources Research Institute
On October 14, Geumsan County released 100,000 freshwater snails into local rivers, using seed snails directly produced by the Freshwater Fish Center of the Chungnam Provincial Fisheries Resources Research Institute.
This release was carried out with the aim of creating abundant fishery resources and revitalizing inland fisheries.
In particular, the county expects that the release of freshwater snails will not only help preserve the ecosystem but also have a positive impact on increasing the income of local fishers. Going forward, Geumsan County plans to collaborate with the Fisheries Resources Research Institute and local residents to promote projects that will create a sustainable fisheries environment.
