Gangwon Tourism Foundation to Hold 'Gyeongpo Trail Run' on November 8, Overcoming Drought Setback

The city of Gangneung and the Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO Choi Sunghyun, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on October 15 that the '2025 Gyeongpo Trail Run,' which was postponed in September due to a drought, will be held on November 8 around Gyeongpo Lake in Gangneung.
This event has been organized to encourage the citizens of Gangneung, who have overcome the recent record-breaking drought disaster, and to seek regional economic recovery and revitalization through Gangwon sports tourism.
The race will take place on a single 11-kilometer course, allowing participants to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Gyeongpo Lake area and the Aribaugil Trail. A variety of side events will also be held to enhance the runners' experience.
Registration for the event can be completed through the Runable app, and detailed information about the race course and participation methods is available on the official Gyeongpo Aribaugil Trail Run website.
