Busan Port Authority Signs 'Sharing Happiness Project' Agreement with Nam-gu and Sinsundaegam Man Terminal
Cooperation to Identify Welfare Blind Spots and Provide Customized Support
Strengthening Community-Oriented Social Contribution for Regional Coexistence
Busan Port Authority (BPA), led by President Song Sangkeun, signed the '2025 Sharing Happiness Project' agreement with Busan Nam-gu District Office and Sinsundaegam Man Terminal at the Nam-gu District Office in Busan on October 14, 2025.
The 'Sharing Happiness Project' is a local community support program promoted by Nam-gu, designed to identify those in welfare blind spots and provide customized welfare services through public-private cooperation.

View original imageUnder this agreement, BPA will identify and develop projects tailored to the welfare blind spots in Nam-gu, Sinsundaegam Man Terminal will sponsor the project, and Nam-gu will cooperate in identifying beneficiaries and connecting them with welfare services.
BPA is spreading a culture of sharing by installing and operating three 'BPA Hope Pantries' in the areas near the port in Nam-gu. Since 2022, BPA has also been running the 'Visiting Social Contribution Project Near the Port' in collaboration with the Nam-gu District Office, supporting a total of 235 households over four years with annual support amounting to 15 million won.
Sinsundaegam Man Terminal has also been actively engaged in welfare improvement activities in the port area, such as the 'Nam-gu Hope Sharing Campaign,' and has pledged regular annual donations worth 10 million won to two BPA Hope Pantries, demonstrating a strong commitment to regional coexistence.
Lee Jeonghaeng, CEO of Sinsundaegam Man Terminal, stated, "We consider coexistence with the local community a core corporate value, and we will contribute to regional development and the improvement of community welfare through various social contribution activities."
