Suncheon City to Distribute Free 'Rumi Ddungi' Emoticons to KakaoTalk Friends
Fairy Version Released to Reflect New Trends
Suncheon City in South Jeolla Province announced on October 14 that it will distribute the city character 'Rumi Ddungi' emoticons for free to 'friends' who add the Suncheon City Hall KakaoTalk channel, starting from 2 p.m. on October 15.

View original imageThe newly released 'Rumi Ddungi' emoticons feature fairy versions of the city characters Rumi and Ddungi, which have been upgraded to reflect current trends in collaboration with CJ ENM, a leading content company in Korea. The set consists of 16 emoticons created in partnership with 'Dalgona,' an Instagram webtoon artist based in Suncheon.
The 'Rumi Ddungi' emoticons can be obtained by searching for 'Suncheon City Hall' on KakaoTalk and adding the channel. They are available to the first 50,000 users and can be used for free for 30 days.
In addition, by adding the Suncheon City Hall KakaoTalk channel, users can receive regular updates every Thursday, including news about city administration, cultural and artistic events, and other useful information about Suncheon.
