Sungkyunkwan University Samsung Changwon Hospital and the Southeastern Regional Radiation Medicine Institute signed a partnership agreement at the conference room of the Southeastern Regional Radiation Medicine Institute.

View original imageThrough the agreement reached on October 13, both institutions agreed to cooperate in various fields, including providing convenience for referred patients, exchanging medical information, conducting joint research in clinical and basic medicine, supporting academic activities, and participating in various academic conferences and educational programs.
Lee Changhun, Director of the Southeastern Regional Radiation Medicine Institute, stated, "There are many areas where we can collaborate. We expect to receive significant support from Samsung Changwon Hospital's liver transplantation team, and in turn, we can provide assistance through our institute's radiation therapy and diagnostics and treatments utilizing radioisotopes. As a leading hospital representing the southeastern region, we will actively collaborate to advance the fields of future precision medicine and radiation medical science."
Oh Juhyun, Director of Samsung Changwon Hospital, commented, "Today's agreement is highly significant as it establishes a close medical cooperation system between a major general hospital and a national public hospital representing Changwon and Busan, united for the benefit of the local community.
