Gwangyang City Spreads K-POP Festival Excitement with 'Maedoli Experience Center' Operation

Gwangyang City, South Jeolla Province (Mayor Jung Inhwa), announced on the 14th that it will operate the 'Maedoli Experience Center' and hold an 'Expectation Comment Event' to spread the pre-excitement of the '5th Gwangyang K-POP Festival' and to create a sustainable festival culture made together by citizens and tourists.
The 'Maedoli Experience Center' is a sensory experience space themed around Gwangyang's representative character, Maedoli, and is expected to further heighten the atmosphere at the festival, which will be held at Gwangyang Public Stadium from October 17 to 18.

View original imageThe experience center consists of two sections: the 'Maedoli Entertainment Experience Center' and the 'Maedoli Experience Center Where Taste and Night Shine.' Both will be open next to the ticket distribution booth from 2 PM to 7 PM on both days of the festival.
At the 'Maedoli Entertainment Experience Center,' visitors can enjoy a total of five free programs: ▲AR games, ▲Maedoli photo zone, ▲Maedoli claw machine, ▲plum jelly media facade, and ▲plum cutting motion game. In particular, those who catch three or more AR Maedolis or participate in three or more programs will receive special souvenirs, such as a 'Maedoli notepad' or an 'electromagnetic wave blocking sticker,' offering a unique experience with both fun and gifts.
At the 'Maedoli Experience Center Where Taste and Night Shine,' visitors can participate in the 'Maedoli DIY Cotton Candy' activity, where they create their own cotton candy using Maedoli expression stickers, and the 'Maedoli Glow-in-the-Dark Tattoo Sticker' activity.
In addition, the 'Maedoli Experience Center Expectation Comment Event,' where people share their anticipation and support messages ahead of the festival, is expected to serve as an interactive participation platform that allows participants to feel the excitement of the festival in advance and spread the joy of taking part.
To participate in the event, check the 'Maedoli Experience Center Guidebook' post on the Gwangyang City Tourism Association's Instagram or website, leave a comment with the name of the experience you are most looking forward to and your expectation, and then verify your participation through the Naver form. The event runs until October 18, and a total of 48 winners will be selected through a drawing to receive a BBQ Golden Olive Chicken and Cola set. Winners will be announced on October 22.
