"Dell Technologies Launches Desktop AI System Featuring Blackwell Superchip"
Del Pro Max with GB10 to Launch on October 16
Equipped with NVIDIA Chip for High-Performance AI Computing
"Enabling Local AI Innovation Without Cost Constraints"
On October 14, Dell Technologies announced the launch of the "Del Pro Max with GB10," an artificial intelligence (AI) system capable of supporting large language models (LLMs) with up to 200 billion parameters, all without requiring an internet connection.
Recently, "agentic AI"-where multiple AIs collaborate and make autonomous decisions without human intervention-has emerged as a major trend. As the number of parameters for AI performance increases and the development of multimodal AI models accelerates, a local computing environment that can process data safely, cost-effectively, and quickly has become increasingly important.
The newly announced "Del Pro Max with GB10" is equipped with the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip.
This system enables direct prototyping, fine-tuning, and inference of LLMs with up to 200 billion parameters in a local environment. The GB10 Superchip combines the Grace CPU, which features a high-performance 20-core Arm architecture, with the Blackwell GPU, delivering up to 1 petaflop (1,000 trillion operations per second) of AI computing power.
The product offers 128GB of integrated LPDDR5x system memory, with options for either 2TB or 4TB NVMe SSD storage.
Based on the NVIDIA-powered Dell AI Factory, the system can seamlessly scale from desktop prototyping to full-scale data center deployment. It comes pre-installed with NVIDIA CUDA, AI Workbench, JupyterLab, and Docker, enabling users to begin developing and testing AI models immediately out of the box, without any additional setup.
The Del Pro Max with GB10 is scheduled for release on October 16, and will be supported by up to three years of Dell support services.
