Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that Jeong Yeonghee, CEO of Yeonghee's, has received the Master of Korean Intangible Cultural Heritage certificate and plaque from the Korea Intangible Cultural Arts Exchange Association.

View original imageThe Master and Grandmaster of Korean Intangible Cultural Heritage Award Ceremony, hosted by the Korea Intangible Cultural Arts Exchange Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is a prestigious award granted through a rigorous review to individuals who have contributed to the preservation and development of traditional culture. CEO Jeong Yeonghee was recognized as a master in the field of traditional gochujang production.
CEO Jeong has preserved Korea’s unique food culture by producing traditional fermented sauces using local agricultural products, based on a long-standing dedication to craftsmanship and honest manufacturing techniques. She has also made significant contributions to nurturing future generations and industrializing local specialty products, helping to promote Yeoncheon’s traditional food culture nationwide.
