Fine Dust Levels Expected to Remain 'Good'
On Monday, the 13th, most regions across the country are expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.

View original imageAccording to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected rainfall over the next two days is 50 to 100 mm in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province (with some areas exceeding 120 mm); 20 to 70 mm in southern Gyeonggi Province, Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region, and North Jeolla Province; 20 to 60 mm in the Gyeongsang region (with more than 80 mm in some areas such as the northern east coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province); and 5 to 20 mm in the five West Sea islands. Strong winds, thunder, and lightning are expected in some areas of the southern West Sea, so caution is advised for maritime safety.
The highest daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 15 to 27 degrees Celsius. As of 5 a.m., the current temperatures are 16.8 degrees in Seoul, 17.1 degrees in Incheon, 17.0 degrees in Suwon, 15.5 degrees in Chuncheon, 15.6 degrees in Gangneung, 19.0 degrees in Cheongju, 19.1 degrees in Daejeon, 19.5 degrees in Jeonju, 20.5 degrees in Gwangju, 24.4 degrees in Jeju, 18.3 degrees in Daegu, 20.5 degrees in Busan, 18.4 degrees in Ulsan, and 19.7 degrees in Changwon.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at a 'good' level throughout all regions.

Waves in the sea are forecast to range from 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the coastal waters of the South Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights will be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in both the West Sea and South Sea.
