Daejeon City to Host "2025 Fun Daejeon Healing Camp" Combining Tourism and Camping
A Variety of Programs Including Traditional Market Shopping, Camping Cooking Contest, and Healing Music Concert
Daejeon City will host the “2025 Fun Daejeon Healing Camp,” an overnight experience program that connects local tourist attractions with campsites to celebrate the autumn camping season.
The Healing Camp will take place from October 11 to 12 at the Sangsodong Auto Camping Site in Dong-gu.
Now in its third year, the Healing Camp will welcome 40 families, who will enjoy a stay-type tourism program that combines sightseeing and camping. Participants will tour major attractions in Daejeon, take part in a photo certification event, complete a traditional market shopping mission, compete in a camping cooking contest, participate in a family talent show, and enjoy a healing music concert-experiencing the unique charm of Daejeon through a variety of activities.
In particular, the camping cooking contest, which uses local food purchased directly from traditional markets, will allow participants to showcase their unique recipes and share diverse camping cultures. Through this process, they will experience local traditional markets and consume regional agricultural products, which is expected to help revitalize the local economy.
Additionally, special performances such as a vocal concert and a bubble show will further enhance the camping atmosphere, providing participating families with unforgettable autumn night memories.
