Subcontract Worker in His 50s Dies After Fall at Hyundai Motor Jeonju Plant...Police Investigating
A worker in his 50s died after falling at Hyundai Motor Company's Jeonju plant. The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
According to the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency on October 4, at around 9:28 p.m. the previous day, Mr. A (54), an employee of a subcontractor, fell from a height of 7 meters while carrying out demolition work at the painting shop of Hyundai Motor Company's Jeonju plant in Bongdong-eup, Wanju County, North Jeolla Province. Mr. A was transported to the hospital by emergency responders but was pronounced dead.
The police believe that Mr. A fell after stepping on an opening in the floor.
