Gyeonggi Office of Education to Open Over 1,200 Public Institution Parking Lots Free of Charge During Chuseok Holiday
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will open the parking lots of its affiliated educational institutions and schools free of charge to provide parking convenience for holiday travelers and local residents visiting Gyeonggi Province during the Chuseok holiday.
The free parking will be available from October 3 to October 9. A total of approximately 1,200 locations, including the provincial office, directly affiliated organizations, education support offices, libraries, training centers, and schools within the province, will participate. The opening hours will be determined individually by each school or institution, with some operating all day.
Information about the free parking lots can be checked starting October 2 through the public resource opening and sharing service Sharing Nuri (www.eshare.go.kr), as well as Naver Map, Kakao Map, Tmap, iNavi Air, and Hyundai Car Navigation.

An official from the provincial office of education stated, "Users of the open parking lots must leave their contact information on the front of their vehicle in case of emergencies. Additionally, since these are educational facilities, users must pay special attention to student safety, refrain from damaging school property, and strictly follow the rules such as no littering."
