View original imageOn October 2, Gwangju and the Jeonnam region are expected to be mostly cloudy, with some areas receiving up to 80mm or more of rainfall.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located over the East Sea. The expected precipitation is between 20 and 60mm, with some parts of the southern coast of Jeonnam possibly receiving more than 80mm.
Morning lows are forecast to be between 15 and 19 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to range from 25 to 27 degrees Celsius. Waves in the coastal waters off the West and South Seas will reach about 1 meter, and ultrafine dust concentrations are expected to remain at a 'normal' level.

An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "There may be areas, especially in Gwangju and the inland regions of Jeonnam, where the temperature difference between day and night is around 10 degrees Celsius, so please take care of your health."
