They cooked 150 servings of traditional holiday foods such as sanjeok (skewered meat and vegetables), donggeurangttaeng (meat patties), various types of jeon (Korean pancakes), and assorted seasoned vegetables on site, and also served the food at the welfare center's cafeteria as part of their volunteer work.
The holiday meals prepared that day will be individually delivered to households in the region identified as vulnerable by the welfare center. In addition, Chuseok gift sets will also be provided separately to the welfare center so that everyone can enjoy a warm holiday.
Since 2016, the Suwan Branch has been engaged in a variety of activities with the Gwangsan-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled, including sharing volunteer work for vulnerable groups in the region and producing braille books for people with disabilities.
