Employee Participation
Spreading the Culture of Sharing and Practicing the Value of Mutual Growth
S-OIL (CEO Anwar Al Hejazi) marked Chuseok by gifting warm meals and daily necessities to people with disabilities.
On September 30, S-OIL announced that it had carried out a meal service volunteer activity for people with disabilities at the Ulsan Disabled Sports Center, in partnership with the Ulsan Metropolitan Volunteer Center (Chairman Kim Jonggil).
This initiative was organized to share the warmth of the holiday and to practice mutual growth with the local community. Around 20 team leaders from the S-OIL Ulsan plant participated in the event, providing healthy holiday dishes such as galbitang (beef short rib soup), assorted jeon (Korean pancakes), songpyeon (rice cakes), and sikhye (sweet rice drink) to 250 people with disabilities, as well as delivering daily necessities and warm greetings.
The company explained that its efforts go beyond simple support, aiming to foster coexistence and sharing with the local community.
This activity was carried out to provide balanced and healthy holiday meals to people with disabilities in Ulsan ahead of Chuseok, in order to convey the meaning of a plentiful and generous holiday.
An S-OIL representative stated, "Through this activity, we hope to continue the value of mutual growth with the local community," adding, "We will continue to engage in various activities that spread the culture of sharing and build connections with our neighbors."
