Dr. Junhyuk Seo and Professor Sungmin Bae of National Hanbat University Win Best Paper Award at "KSQM-QMOD-ICQSS"
National Hanbat University announced on September 30 that Dr. Junhyuk Seo and Professor Sungmin Bae from the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering recently received the Best Paper Award at the "2025 Fall KSQM-QMOD-ICQSS Joint International Conference" held at Yonsei University.

View original imageThe conference was jointly organized by the Korean Society for Quality Management (KSQM) and the European Union-based QMOD. QMOD is a Europe-based quality management society that brings together more than 100 quality-related experts from over 30 countries every year.
Dr. Seo and Professor Bae were awarded the Best Paper Award at the conference for their co-authored paper, "Deriving Key Factors for Corporate Response to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act Using the AHP-IPA Method."
The paper presents an empirical study on establishing a proactive safety and health management system in response to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (SAPA), which is currently being implemented in South Korea.
