The green hydrogen produced will be directly supplied through a dedicated pipeline network to the nearby Daegwallyeong hydrogen charging station, where it will be used for fueling hydrogen vehicles.
This initiative was selected as part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's "2022 Water Electrolysis-Based Hydrogen Production Base Construction Project." Gangwon Province (wind energy provider), Hanwha Solutions (facility construction), and Korea Gas Technology Corporation (operation) are participating in the project.
