Looking for Student Soldiers Who Chose Guns Over Pens for Their Country... North Gyeongsang Office of Education to Collect Records for Two Months
The North Gyeongsang Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jongshik) announced on September 25 that it will launch the "Project to Find Student Soldiers from North Gyeongsang Province" until November 30.
This project is part of ongoing efforts to more effectively continue the "Collection and Content Development of Records on North Gyeongsang Student Soldiers." Its goal is to identify more student soldiers from North Gyeongsang Province, document their lives and wartime experiences, and collect related materials.
The North Gyeongsang Provincial Office of Education is producing and distributing promotional posters and card news, hoping for active participation and reports from local residents.
Anyone who knows student soldiers from North Gyeongsang Province can participate by phone or QR code. The deadline for submissions is November 30.
In addition, to ensure that student soldiers who fought in the war but have not been recognized as national merit recipients receive proper recognition, the collected information and records will be organized and provided to relevant agencies.
