'China Visit' Kim Dongyeon Begins First Schedule in Chongqing, Site of the Last Provisional Government
Governor Kim Dongyeon of Gyeonggi Province has begun his first official visit to China, starting his schedule in Chongqing.
On September 23, Governor Kim posted on his social media, "On the first day of my business trip to China, I am starting my schedule in Chongqing, where the last Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea was located."
He went on to say, "This trip is with companies from the 'Gyeonggi-do AI Leaders' group. The delegation includes a wide range of businesses, from cloud companies with over 2 trillion won in sales to venture firms."
Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dongyeon posted a message and photo on his social media on the 23rd.
View original imageHe added, "Immediately upon arrival, my first event was a meeting with AI companies, where we discussed their entry into the Chinese market. We also explored ways for Gyeonggi-based companies to participate in the NVIDIA Gyeonggi Growth program."
Governor Kim also shared some special connections with the business representatives accompanying him.
He said, "During the meeting, one company CEO brought his diploma and asked me to sign it. It turned out that he had received his master's degree from Ajou University when I was serving as its president. Another CEO surprised me by saying he is the son of my high school classmate."
