Over 400 Local Youth and Teachers Participate
Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) held the "2025 Special Lecture for Students and Teachers on Professional Careers" at the Pukyong Convention Hall on the Daeyeon Campus of Pukyong National University on September 20.

View original imageThis event was organized by the Busan Career and College Counseling Center of the Busan Academic Development Institute in collaboration with Pukyong National University for the benefit of the local community. It was attended by Kim Seokjun, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Ha Myungshin, Vice President for External Affairs at Pukyong National University (Director of the RISE Project Group), as well as about 400 local residents, including high school students and elementary, middle, and high school teachers.
The special lecture was delivered by Noh Heeyoung, CEO of Food Laboratory and renowned as one of Korea's leading brand strategists, under the theme "Entrepreneurship and Personal Branding."
Noh emphasized creative thinking with messages such as "How to design classes that have never existed before" and "Imagine what you want to be attached to your name." She also encouraged participants by saying, "To create something that has never existed, ask questions that others do not ask," which resonated with the audience.
Pukyong National University is expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the local community based on the Busan-style RISE project. For this event, the university actively opened its facilities to provide programs addressing local issues and opportunities to enjoy education and culture. In addition, the Southeast Startup Experience Education Hub Center and the Startup Education Innovation Leading University Project Group (SCOUT) also participated, contributing to the expansion of the regional startup and career education ecosystem.
