A Variety of Experiences, Singing Contest, and Concert Await
The "Yaksu Market Healing Night," hosted by the Yaksu Market Alley Merchants Association in Jung-gu, Seoul, will take place throughout the Yaksu Market area from September 26 to 28.
On September 26 and 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Yaksu Church parking lot will be transformed into an experience space for all generations. A variety of activity booths, including face painting, nail art, and hand massages, will be available, along with a retro-style arcade for adults and a photo zone for children, ensuring entertainment for everyone.
On the final day of the festival, September 28, a "Healing Concert" will be held at 5:00 p.m., bringing the atmosphere to its peak. The evening will feature a diverse lineup, including Gyeonggi folk songs and Nanta performances by local community clubs, a singing contest with ten teams who advanced through the preliminaries, as well as K-pop and trot celebratory performances, creating a warm and vibrant autumn night.
In the market alleys, a food court will offer a variety of dishes, and a flea market will showcase unique products. Additionally, next to the Saemaeul Geumgo building, customers who spend over 50,000 won will receive a 10,000-won Onnuri gift certificate, while supplies last.
Located at the crossroads between Yaksu Station and the Namsan Footpath, Yaksu Market has long served as a traditional marketplace for local residents. Recently, it has gained popularity as a "must-visit food spot" for younger generations and a filming location for YouTube, making it a beloved "hot place" that exudes a warm, nostalgic charm.
