According to the county on September 19, on the afternoon of September 10, when a heat wave advisory was in effect, a report was filed that an 88-year-old dementia patient, referred to as Mr. A, had gone missing. A visiting nurse, after seeing the safety alert message, confirmed that Mr. A was a participant in the home visit health management program. The nurse found Mr. A wandering along a roadside about 4 kilometers from his home within an hour and safely returned him to his family.
In August, a visiting nurse discovered abnormal signs after measuring the blood pressure of Mr. B, aged 75, and immediately recommended hospital treatment. Mr. B underwent surgery at a higher-level hospital right away, which saved his life. It was a tense moment that could have led to greater danger if not for the nurse’s careful observation and swift action.
Additionally, Mr. C, a 70-year-old myocardial infarction patient participating in the elderly health management program, checked his activity tracker and noticed an "abnormal heart rate alert," prompting him to go to the hospital immediately. A detailed examination revealed arrhythmia, allowing him to receive emergency treatment. Mr. C expressed his relief, saying, "The activity tracker saved my life."
