Sejong City Health Center Launches National Influenza Vaccination for High-Risk Groups During Seasonal Change
Priority by Age Group: Children, Pregnant Women, and Seniors to Receive Vaccinations Starting from the 22nd
Sejong City will provide free national influenza (flu) vaccinations to high-risk groups, including children, pregnant women, and seniors, until the end of April next year. The eligible recipients are children from 6 months to under 13 years old, pregnant women, and seniors aged 65 and older, all considered high-risk groups during flu season.
Starting from the 22nd, the first group to receive vaccinations will be children from 6 months to under 9 years old who require two doses. From the 29th, children and pregnant women who require only one dose will be vaccinated. Beginning October 15, seniors aged 75 and older will also receive vaccinations, with each group being vaccinated sequentially.
Eligible recipients can receive their vaccinations at any nearby designated medical institution or public health center, regardless of their registered address. The list of designated medical institutions can be found on the Sejong City Health Center website or the Immunization Helper website. When getting vaccinated, recipients must bring identification and supporting documents, such as proof of eligibility or a maternity handbook. For additional inquiries regarding the free national influenza (flu) vaccination, please contact the city health center.
