GS Retail announced on the 18th that its employee volunteer group, "GS Nanumi," carried out volunteer activities at the Seoul SOS Regional Child Welfare Center in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the 17th.
The Seoul SOS Regional Child Welfare Center is an institution that provides protection, education, emotional support, and community-linked programs for children in need of care within the local community. This volunteer activity was organized to support the healthy growth of local children.

View original imageA total of 31 employees, including CEO Heo Seohong, Jang Junsu, Head of the Convenience Store Business Division 1, and Lee Changhun, Head of Management Support Division, participated in the volunteer work. After improving the environment inside and outside the Seoul SOS Regional Child Welfare Center, the employees made snacks with the children and delivered gift sets consisting of popular GS25 products and merchandise.
Since its launch in 2006, GS Nanumi has been active through over 60 volunteer groups nationwide. To date, a cumulative total of approximately 85,000 employees have participated, contributing about 220,000 hours of volunteer service. The group continues to carry out various themed volunteer activities every year, such as coal briquette sharing, kimchi-making, voice donations, and environmental protection, leveraging its nationwide business network to engage in community-based social contribution efforts.
