57 New Innovative Financial Services Designated, Including "Non-Financial Information-Based Credit Evaluation Service"
The Financial Services Commission announced on the 17th that it had newly designated 57 innovative financial services through a regular meeting.
On this day, the Commission newly designated the “Non-Financial Information-Based Credit Evaluation Service” by Communication Alternative Evaluation as an innovative financial service. As a result, the development and validation of credit evaluation models using non-financial information, such as telecom-related data, are expected to become more efficient. The Commission also expects that this will expand credit evaluation opportunities for individuals with limited financial histories, such as young people and homemakers.
Additionally, the “Domestic Stock Trading Service for Overseas Brokerage Clients Using Integrated Foreign Accounts” by Samsung Securities and Yuanta Securities was newly designated as an innovative financial service. This is expected to provide foreign investors with more convenient access to domestic stocks.
In addition, services such as the “Securities-Backed Loan Refinancing Service” (1 case) and the “One-Stop Group Voice Phishing Joint Response Service” (1 case) were also newly designated.

Meanwhile, the Commission announced that it had accepted a regulatory improvement request for the “Fractional Overseas Stock Trading Service,” which has been designated and tested in the financial market since 2021. Going forward, the Commission plans to initiate regulatory improvements so that the same service can be provided in the financial market without special regulatory exemptions.
