Integration Completed with Four Major POS Providers
Connecting POS and Naver Place Data
On September 17, Naver announced that it has expanded the beta service coverage of 'Place Plus,' which allows for easy access and management of on-site restaurant information through integration with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Place Plus is a service that connects data from POS terminals to Naver's Smart Place, enabling restaurant owners to check and manage offline information such as visits and payments directly within Smart Place.

Any restaurant owner using POS from these providers can apply for the Place Plus service through their respective POS company.
Offline information such as payment records generated through POS is linked to the Smart Place system, allowing business owners to view comprehensive online and offline statistical data in Smart Place, including net sales, customer inflow channels, and sales comparisons by menu item.
On the detailed Place page for restaurants using the Place Plus service, key information such as the most popular weekly menu items, peak visit times, and average payment amounts is displayed. This information is also reflected in the list of places shown for searches like 'Seongsu best restaurants,' and a 'Place+' badge is displayed to indicate that detailed on-site information is available for that establishment.
Users can check restaurant information reflected through POS data on Naver Place. In addition, based on POS payment records, users can write reviews without needing to verify receipts, making it easier to efficiently manage reviews.
Starting with UnionPOS next month, Naver plans to sequentially increase the number of POS systems that can be integrated, thereby expanding the number of businesses that can use the service.
Lee Sangcheol, Head of Naver Place Business Division, stated, "By integrating a variety of essential online and offline data for store operations, we will continue to advance Place Plus to provide business owners with a more efficient store management experience and users with more accurate and comprehensive on-site information."
