Kia Launches 'All-in-One Display 2' Exclusively for PV5 Taxis
On September 16, Kia launched the 'All-in-One Display 2,' a specialized feature for the PV5 taxi model designed for purpose-built mobility (PBV) operations.
The 'All-in-One Display 2' is a dedicated PV5 taxi option that integrates essential taxi business functions-including the driver app (Kakao T), navigation app (Kakao Navi), and meter app (Tmoney Mobility and Joy of Movement)-into a single 12.9-inch large display.
By consolidating key taxi functions, which were previously managed across separate devices, into one intuitive screen, operational efficiency has been enhanced. Drivers can accept ride requests using only the steering wheel buttons, and when using the Hi-Pass system, fares are automatically totaled, streamlining the payment process and improving convenience.
Compared to the 'All-in-One Display 1' option previously applied to the Niro Plus taxi, several features have been improved. Advanced driver assistance functions based on Kia Connect and navigation can now be used in the same way as in regular vehicles, and drivers can directly move screens such as the app meter on the display according to their preferences.
A Kia representative explained that the release of the 'All-in-One Display 2' is significant as it marks the first case in which Kia has developed apps for a PBV-exclusive infotainment system through a collaborative framework with external software partners, based on its customer-centric PBV business philosophy.
The 'All-in-One Display 2' is available as an option for PV5 taxi purchases starting today.
