Representatives from the northern and southern campuses of the 2025 ESG Leading University program also participated, engaging in in-depth discussions to explore the intersection between policy and on-the-ground realities.
Of particular note, Kwon Ogeun, Head of the ESG Innovation Division at Shinhan University and moderator of the first part's discussion, highlighted that "Social economy enterprises can go beyond merely realizing social value; as key agents in spreading ESG, they can simultaneously drive transparency in supply chains and sustainability in local communities."
President Kang Sungjong stated, "Social economy organizations revitalize local communities, and ESG is the value that connects them to the world. Shinhan University, together with the Korea Sustainable Campus Council, will fulfill its role as a small global village where universities, local communities, and the international society come together."
