Song Kangho to Star in Director Nam Donghyup's New Film "The Gardeners"
Aiming to Begin Filming Next Year
Film production company Hive Media Corp announced on the 11th that actor Song Kangho will star in director Nam Donghyup's new film "The Gardeners" (working title).
The story follows a civil servant whose only hobby is growing plants, but after becoming entangled in massive debt, he teams up with the local troublemaker to embark on a unique gardening business.
Song Kangho will play Choi Youngil, a diligent plant enthusiast and an ordinary civil servant. The film will depict how a once-quiet village is thrown into turmoil.
Director Nam, who is at the helm of the project, previously demonstrated his potential as a next-generation filmmaker with the movie "Handsome Guys."
