Daejeon Office of Education to Recruit 46 Public Kindergarten, Elementary, and Special School Teachers Next Year
3 Kindergarten, 34 Elementary, and 9 Special School Teachers to Be Recruited
The Daejeon Office of Education will recruit 46 teachers for public kindergartens, elementary schools, and special schools for the 2026 academic year.
On September 10, the Office announced on its website the "2026 Daejeon Metropolitan City Public Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Special School (Kindergarten/Elementary) Teacher Recruitment Examination Plan."
The planned recruitment for the 2026 academic year includes 3 kindergarten teachers (1 for special needs), 34 elementary school teachers (3 for special needs), and 9 special school (elementary) teachers (1 for special needs), totaling 46 teachers (5 for special needs). No special school kindergarten teachers will be recruited.
Applications will only be accepted through the "Online Teacher Recruitment System" for five days, from September 22 to 6 p.m. on September 27.

The first round of the examination will be held on November 8, 2025, and the second round will take place over three days from January 7 to 9, 2026. The final successful candidates will be announced at 10 a.m. on January 28, 2026.
