On September 5, Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Kwangdeok) signed the second business agreement at Geumgok High School with the Guri Namyangju Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Eunkyung), Geumgok High School (Principal Ko Byeongun), and the Eastern Gyeonggi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Lee Honggyun) to foster key talents for the future society.

View original imageThis agreement follows the first agreement signed at Namyangju High School on August 26. With both vocational high schools in Namyangju now participating, a comprehensive employment support foundation has been established to cover the entire region, which is highly significant.
Under the agreement, the city will provide administrative support such as customized employment counseling. The Office of Education and Geumgok High School will be responsible for expanding vocational education and field training tailored to industry demand. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will support employment and offer internships by leveraging its corporate network.
Mayor Joo Kwangdeok stated, "By signing agreements with both vocational high schools in Namyangju, we are now able to provide practical support for improving employment rates," adding, "We will continue to develop a collaborative model involving schools, businesses, and the local community."
