On September 3, Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province held a kickoff meeting for the feasibility study service for the establishment of the Marine Science Education Content Experience Center, officially launching the project.
This study marks the first step in developing a master plan and securing the feasibility of the experience center, which will be built in an inland area.
Yeongju City plans to devise a differentiation strategy for the center, reflecting the region's unique characteristics and connectivity.

View original imageApproximately 20 people attended the meeting, including Acting Mayor Yoo Jeonggeun, members of the Yeongju City Council, officials from the East Sea Strategic Planning Division of the Gyeongbuk East Sea Regional Headquarters, relevant departments, and representatives from the consulting firm.
The meeting presented analyses of site conditions, commercialization plans, and detailed implementation strategies. Attendees shared their views on the center's strengths, differentiation direction, and future strategies.
The city intends to refine the basic concept by comprehensively reviewing differentiation from similar facilities, the economic impact on the local economy, and investment attraction potential through this study.
