BKR Appoints Taeyeol Ahn as Head of Tim Hortons Division
Aims to Strengthen Food Competitiveness and Maximize Brand Value in Korea
On September 3, BKR announced the appointment of Executive Vice President Taeyeol Ahn as the Head of the Tim Hortons Division.
Executive Vice President Taeyeol Ahn is an expert in the food and beverage sector and a brand strategist, having previously served as Head of the Ashley Division at E-Land Group, APAC CEO of Memebox, and Chief Operating Officer at GFFG.
Through the appointment of Executive Vice President Ahn, BKR aims to strengthen its food competitiveness and maximize the brand value of Tim Hortons. A BKR representative stated, "Tim Hortons is entering a new phase of growth as it accelerates its business in the Korean market, and we expect Executive Vice President Ahn's expertise in the food and beverage sector and his diverse brand experience to serve as a strategic catalyst."
Executive Vice President Ahn expressed his ambitions, saying, "Tim Hortons, Canada's national cafe and the world's second-largest cafe brand, is poised for significant growth in the Korean market. I will do my utmost to ensure that more customers can experience the evolving Tim Hortons."

Meanwhile, Tim Hortons, a brand representing Canadian coffee and culture, entered the Korean market for the first time in December 2023. Starting with the Sinnonhyeon Station location, it now operates 23 stores.
